5.  When will consultation happen?

When will the sector consultation happen:

The starting point for the medium and large qualification was consulted on in 2007.  The detail will be made available on this website and at a series of regional workshops during July 2008 with consultation closing on the 15th August 2008.

As part of the consultation phase, a nine centre road show run in conjunction with BOINZ will provide the opportunity for regional meetings, presentations and feedback.  Click here to see the schedule of meetings.

6.  What has already been decided?

In the small buildings
phase of the project a number of key decisions were made:

  1. That there would be a two qualification structure for Building Cotnrol Surveying.
  2. That there would be overlap between the small and medium & large building national diplomas.
  3. That there would be alignment with the Architectural Technology, Quatity Surveying and Construction Management sectors where possible.
