Project Management

In the last decade Mark Williams of Williams Unlimited has amassed over 20,000 hours of project management and project related experience across more than 100 projects, contracting to over 30 organisations and working with many more.

Mark has established a business group portfolio management system for the Framework Development team at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority in the mid 90’s when the business group had around 20 project managers (Framework Development Officers) controlling approximately $10m worth projects annually. Mark also established and managed an Enterprise Portfolio Office covering all business units within the Agriculture ITO in the early 2000’s.

Mark has had experience of product, service and result based project management including the review of training needs across the civil infrastructure sector (service), implementation of training for Drinking Water Assessors, the revision of training for Building Control Surveyors (product), the uptake of e-survey and TA e-certification (result).

Mark has followed project processes in line with the Project Management Institutes Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide and is currently working towards the organisation's Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation.
